Letters from the People

Below are letters from Hanks’ supporters regarding the latest attack ads sponsored by Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson’s PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund.

Written by Randy Bremmer

Across CD3 you are likely to hear ads saying something like this:

Why are liberal supporting Ron Hanks? They know they can count on him. Ron ran for Congress in California touting his radical anti gun agenda, even abandoned President Trump. No wonder liberals love him. Now Ron's running in Colorado and Democratic mega donors are propping up his campaign with huge funding to elect another liberal to Congress.  Locked.  Loaded.  Liberal. Ron is a bullseye for liberals. A misfire for Colorado. Congressional Leadership Fund is responsible for the content of this advertising.

I want you to know there are only a few words in this ad that are true:

1)  Ron ran for Congress in California… in 2010.

2)  Congressional Leadership Fund is responsible for the content of this advertising

Every other word is a lie.

Oh, but it gets worse, from a Republican voter’s point of view.

Who is doing the lying?  Congressional Leadership Fund

Who is that?  A Republican Super-PAC, operating at the behest of the Republican speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.

What do they do?  From the web site:

Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) is the super PAC dedicated exclusively to one goal: winning a Republican Majority in the House of Representatives.

Why would Mike Johnson direct CLF to pay for a hit-piece full of lies about fellow Republican Ron Hanks?

Mike Johnson and the National Republican Leadership does not want Ron Hanks in Congress, and doesn’t care one tiny bit about what we - the Republican voters in CD3 - want.   They are spending some of their $260 million interfering in our congressional district to prevent us from selecting a representative they don’t want.

Take a wild guess who they want:  hand-picked RINO Jeff Hurd.

In contrast, I urge you to read this article from the Gateway Pundit.

I suspect you’ve heard about this evil from Senator Mitch McConnell, working against unwanted Republicans.

Now here is this evil, directed at CD3, from Republican Speaker Mike Johnson.

Hanks has already spoken out about the need to replace Mike Johnson as Speaker.

Ron is against all the spending on Ukraine, which Johnson supports.

Ron is against continuing resolutions, which Johnson passes.

Ron met with leading House Freedom Caucus member Congressman Jim Jordan June 11, 2024.

It is OUR Republican party.  Republican leadership should support the candidate WE choose to represent US.

The ad is packed full of lies, all easily refuted.

“Abandoned President Trump”… in 2010?  Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Donald Trump come on the scene in 2015, and become president in 2016?

Radical anti-gun agenda in his California run?

Here is Ron’s campaign materials and his "radical liberal agenda" from 2010:

Pretty radical, eh?  Loren is Ron.  As he explains it in an interview with Ernest Luning:

I have always been Republican, always Pro-Life, and Ron is short for Loren, given by military coworkers and used for years.

“… Democratic mega donors are propping up his campaign with huge funding …”  Huh?  I’m a volunteer for Ron and I can tell you from first-hand experience there ain’t no huge funding in this campaign my friend.  It’s grassroots, and small individual donors, and trying to decide whether we can afford yard signs or palm cards, and not very many.  Easily refuted from the secretary of state web site.  Why lie?  Few, if any, will check.

This interference by the Republican Speaker is disgusting.  Isn’t CLF Super-PAC money to be spent defeating Democrats?  That’s what the website would have you believe.  It is also used to defeat Republican candidates the Republican leadership doesn’t want.  Never mind what you, the voter, wants.

I wrote in my primary election email, which you may not have read cuz it was a bit on the long side, that we have to fight the Republican leadership before we can get at the Democrats/communists.  Well, here it is, on full display.

Please share across the district.  Please vote.  We may not be able to save the country from Washington, but if we don’t slow them down, we sure could loose the country from there.

Submitted to Gateway Pundit: “Additional Information” -- 6.19.2024

Editors and Mr. Ingrassia:

Ref: Colorado On The Brink: . . .

June 19, 2024

Excellent article.

Specifically I reference the sections pertaining to Ron Hanks, and the Colorado Democratic Party-

dominated government. Colorado is essentially an autocracy as Governor Jared Polis has an iron grip on

the Party, the Party legislators, and Polis puppets: Phil Weiser, AG and Jena Griswold, Secretary of State,

and the Party controls the machines. As Plaintiff on three lawsuits regarding the Dominion machines I

have seen conspicuous fraud and malfeasance first hand. So has Ron as Plaintiff on a separate lawsuit.

I know Ron personally and though I am not in his District, I will commute to work his campaign. I will

not work it as a Republican; I am an Independent, the plurality if you will in Colorado. Republican voter

registrations statewide are a distant third in a 3-horse race: 24% and change and declining. Independents

are 48% and gaining. Democrats 26% and change.

Mr. Ingrassia, Ron needs more of your excellent work: knowledgeable, courageous, excellent writing.

The Democrat national machine will come down hard on Ron's campaign. I support his pledge to outlaw

Dominion voting systems, but that is not going to happen for this election, and not for as long as the Polis

machine controls the Government. I would restate "voting machines make fraud all but inevitable" as "the

voting machines are designed by Dominion and configured by the state to enable fraud. The intention is

palpable and the opportunity begs exploitation." It is not a Democrat party issue -- forgive me Mr.

Advisory Board Member of the New York Young Republican Club -- it is a fact of both parties. It was two

consecutive Republican Secretaries of State that gave Colorado the Dominion machines. I am convinced

the closing Dominion sales pitch was: "You will never lose another election."

Mr. Ingrassia, I hope you will continue your interest in Colorado politics. Having grown up on Long

Island I similarly have an interest in NY politics. I have already clicked "read more of Paul Ingrassia's

articles here." Thank you.

To the editors: Might we soon see an article with Ron Hanks getting top billing. Ron is an emerging

political legend from Colorado. Lauren has the name recognition, but I read the article and have sent the

link to friends because I saw the picture of Ron Hanks. Lauren's campaign has unmatched name

recognition, a Congressional track record, and very strong financing far outpacing all of her competitors

combined in spending to date and funds remaining. It is Ron that needs the help. In our conversation last

month he told me "Trump will win in November. He is going to need a Congress to support him. That is

why I am running." That is why I will work Ron Hanks' campaign. That is why his is a national race: The

country needs Ron Hanks.

Thank you Editors for the great work of Gateway Pundit. Thank you Mr. Ingrassia, you are no doubt

destined to make great contributions to our nation and the Cause of the American People.
